Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
I was driving on a major freeway yesterday when my truck began to quickly lose power and begin to stall. I pulled over on the shoulder and it turned off and won't staay on. I can get the engine turned on but the truck will quickly begin to shake and if I rev the engine it turns right off. What could the problem be?
You could have a dirty Fuel Filter, try changing that first since it's the easiest and cheapest to do. You'll find the filter i believe on the inside if the frame under the drivers area. The only other thing i can think of is a fuel Pump going bad and not producing enough fuel pressure.
Best thing, start with the fuel filter and get the truck scanned for any DTC codes.
Good luck and hope this helps.
