Question about 1989 Pontiac Grand Am
Car was sitting 6 months before i got it,ran real good for 122 miles then suddenly started skipping,it is a 4cyl dohc fi eng.
Find a real dark spot, on a real dark nite. Raise the hood and check the plug wires for any spark jumping.
Also check all the vacuum hoses, fittings, pcv valve.

check for massive vacuum leak at intake and also check timing ...compression test alone does not eliminate timing as suspect
