Blend door actuator stuck or vaccume came dissconected. Or could be low on coolant and not getting flow through the heater core

SOURCE: 1999 Buick regal Security light on. Won't start.

I had the same problem with my 95 Lesabre. The owners manual says to take the key out, and wait 3 minutes(until the light goes off). It should fire right up.

I think you may have a clogged orifice tube (possible compressor failure starting) this can be checked with a system pressure test.
When an expansion valve or block fails, always replace the drier. Also flush the condenser and liquid lines.

I have a 1991 buick regal and when i turn the heat on only cool air blows out. it doesnt leak on floor either as if heater core was out. what should i do

Check that the heater core is not plugged by feeling the 2 heater hoses going into the firewall. If they both get hot, then the heater core is not at fault.

If they are cool, then the heater core is plugged then the heater core will have to be replaced.

I have problems with the heater it blow cold air

Usually one of three things can happen..... Thermostat is the most common, sticks open.... Low coolant level is the next most common... the water pump is loosing it's ability to pump, too much clearance..
These are not as common.... Plugged heater core, collapsed heater hose, mode door open to outside air, broken or disconnected control cable.

Automobile air conditioning on max cool, blows hot air on passenger side tried dual climate control settings still cold on driver hot on passenger

I had the same problem when i was working on my 1999 Buick Regal and had to disconnect the battery. I didn't reconnect in the same way that I disconnected the battery from the terminal and noticed that the driver side had no heat or air but the passenger side did. I then disconnected the battery again and reconnected it the same way and now have heat and air on both the driver and passenger side. Hope this helps. Good Luck!
