I need to find the main and rod factory specs for a GM Crankshaft casting number 6223. Where would I look?

you would have to get the foundry bill of material for that crankshaft
finding the casting foundry will be a job in itself
however crank shafts are cast to a engineering standard (throw distance) and are then ground to a standard size on the big ends and main journals
what ever con rods that are used depends on the block that the crank shaft is installed in as different piston diameters require different strength conrods
the casting number is just a batch number so it may prove a dead end if you are relying on it to get information
where I would start looking is at a engineering shop that regrinds crank shafts as they may have original specs for gm cranks and that number just may indicate what block it was made for and then you may get a heading as to where to look

I need to know the size of the rod journal on a tc18 crank shaft in mm or inches . Thank you.

Your shop manual should have this info. Don't have one? You need one if you are doing this major work. Wht trust some stranger with such critical spec's?

I dont know wich bearing to get for my 2002 chevy impala 3.8l v6. Some are standard, some 0.0010, 0.0020, 0.0030 ??

You want to have approximately 0.001-inch of bearing clearance for every inch of journal diameter. So for a 2.100-inch rod journal, it’s always a good idea to shoot for 0.0021 or 0.0022 bearing clearance.Too little bearing clearance can mean a spun bearing, we always aim to wind up too high rather than too low.

If the crank has not been turned and is stock with no wear I would go with standard bearings. With wear you may be able to do the .0010 over. If the crank has been resurfaced then I would suggest measuring the diameter with a caliper or request the resurface specs from the machine shop.

To be completely safe I would measure the diameter of the crank. You may be able to rent the tool from Autozone or Orielly's Auto.

Bearing oil clearance and new size bearing

No the oil clearance is correct for BOTH bearings @ .022 -.046 mm to try to get a true clearance measurement use a micrometer and measure in 4 places 90 degrees part this will check for out of round journal and compare to a factory journal size. there may be a .001 thousand or .002 thousand undersize bearing insert that will bring oil clearance in to specs. but most connecting rods get black from a spun bearing and they need to stay round so a inside micrometer is used to check that 10 times out 10 the connecting rod is replaced.

Put in new rod and main bearings oil drops to zero after warmup 1997 2.2 honda accord put in manual gage to check for sure also put in new headgasket and rings good oil pressure to start then gone what am...

Well the cam bearings will have to do with this also,if it has them,if not it can be the wear in the cam carriers. But most likely the crankshaft journals are worn to much, the crank would need turning, and over size rod,and main bearings would need to be installed.

1996 Camry, 150k. Engine bearings showing beginning wear-and-tear signs (shards in oil pan). Can these be replaced, or is another engine the only option?

These can be replaced. In a worse case scenario they can be replaced with the engine installed although extensive disassembly is required to include cylinder head removal. You will want to have the Crank turned and all connecting rods and make sure they are done at the same time by the same servicer. This is to ensure that you get the proper Connecting rod and Journal and main bearings.
