Beth to help you with a diagnoses one would need more info ... It won't come on at all, comes on but only blows cold air, any smell in the car etc etc so to answer the question ... Some reasons would be your ignitions with is not on, your fuse is blown, your fan switch is fried, your fan motor is shot, your heater hose is busted, your heater core beads replacing, no battery in your car, etc etc ... Hope that helps.

If the blend door not moving would there be any other reason why my heater is not blowing hot air from my 2008 ford explorer

If the blend door is working, could be the heater core stopped up. Feel the heater hoses near the fire wall, both hoses will be hot to the touch. Close to the temp of the upper radiator hose.

I have a 2003 chev silverado, 4x4 2500 both power seats and seat heaters stopped working at the same time, Looking for reason why, all fuses seem to be good. I was told to replace the 25 amp relay on

Ok I don't know who these people are giving advice but I hope they are not gm mechanics. There is a fuse under the hood marked MBEC 1 50amp. If it blows it knocks out both power seats seat heaters and power windows passenger side front and back. I can't believe all this wiring ****!

My 2005 chevy avalanche only blows cold air until i drive then when I stop cold air Agian

One of two things has happened. Either your coolant has gotten really low (easy enough to check) or you heater core is starting to plug up.

My 2001 malibu is blowing cold air out of the heater. why?

Two reasons are common and then theirs some other things that happen too. The first reason is even though the cooling system has coolant in it and maybe the recover tanl appears to be filled enough the system has air in it and it;s in the heater. the second reason id the heater core is stopped up as theirs no valve shutting off the coolant flow you can remove the hoses and wash the core thoughwith a garden hose and then reconnect and refill any missing cooant anf it fixes most of them. he next thing that happens is the air blend door does'nt move forn hot to cold for many reasons 1) the air blend door motor failed ( has a gear box that fails too) 2) the blend door is stuck ( this causes the motor to fail) The blend door is broken ( as it stuck and the motor tried to force it and breaks the place with the motor fits inton the blend door) 4) the heater box is filled with rats nest or animals nest and the air doesn't go though the heater core.

What would be the reason blower moter stop working on 1993 lumina then i hit it and it work for about 2 times that hit made it work now it won't work at all

They use a sealed motor that you can not repair and brushes stick when they get worn . You have to replace the heater motor.

2003 Ford Expedition Heater not working

This is all to common an issue in many Fords starting in the mid 90's, reason they went to a electric motor to control the air blend door , this motor moves the door air that diverts heat or cold from the AC, or mixes or blends it,the motor has failed or the door is stuck in the air duct, the bottom line is that to fix either problem the dash must be removed, no a job for the home mech, takes about 10-15 hrs to complete.
