I know this sounds brutal but if you can get a pipe wrench on it and apply even pressure is may just come lose. Also tapping it with a hammer to brake the bond, and I mean tap not hit, before using the wrench.

well it means that you have low voltage to your oil pressure sending unit, try to add oil, only after checking to see if there is the correct amount, has the oil light come on?
This is very common on the 4.7 Rams, internal moisture collects there and forms a white sludge in the neck and on the cap. I have battled this myself on my 04 1500 and found there isn't a solution. As long as the oil in the pan isn't milky you're ok.
P.S. A new oil cap is no help.
Sound like your oil pick up screen is some what clog, if you have good oil pressure at 1st start and then oil pressure gone after running, check screen.
Do you have anti freeze in it? did you replce the radiator cap? is the fan clutch good? is the AC condensor full of bugs and the radiator? are you low on transmisson fluid? or Motor oil? all these will cause it to get hot.
