Ml320, 1998, drivers side rear window switch has quit raising the window. There is no tension on the switch at all. It just flaps in the breeze as it were.

Sounds like Switch is worn out. I would start with replacing the switch. Try wrecking yard or on line parts like Rock Auto etc. for a better price break.Dealer will probably want a hefty some for one.

Passenger side window on Mercedes ML 320 will not go back up. We have taken assembly switch apart and clean the contacts, and straightened the copper tabs that make a connection with switch. Unfortunately...

problem is not necessarily elctrical, I solved same problem by removing plastic cover from switch AFTER observing upward motion restricted by contact of switch COVER with trim panel.
lucky.

Rear power window not working

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. Then you can test the switch to see if it's the switch that's broken. If not, you can then pull off the weather seal and access the insides of the door and check the motor, regulator

All windows in my ml320 STOPED WORKING AT THE SAME TIME. cOULD IT BE A FUSE?

Yup, or a relay, or a solenoid. It could also be the switch. Have you tried each window at it's own door switch, or just tried the driver's switch that has all 4 window buttons? If the other ones work, but not the driver's switch, it's a wiring issue related to the driver's switch. If None of them work anywhere, have a repair facility or dealership perform electrical diagnosis (they'll be checking powers and grounds along the wiring, from the switches, to see where the issue is after checking your fuses and circuit breakers or any pertinent relays or solenoids).

Please note: All four window motors/regulators/switches failing at once is extremely hard to believe. If the vehicle was hit by lightning, maybe, I could see that happening, but if it hasn't been struck by lightning, don't let anyone sell you multiple motors/regulators or switches.

Most likely, you've blown a fuse or relay.

Hope this helps.
