Can't change power steering belt on 2001 toyota echo

I recently changed the main belt in my 2001 echo. Since then the belt behind it that runs the power steering and AC is making a very bad squeel. Looking at that belt I don't see how to loosen and replace the back belt. From what I've seen there is no tensioner on the two pullies. Any ideas?

Take a look some pullies are spring loaded and it may require a ( not recommend unless stuck) but a pry bar. if spring loaded is the case there should be a tool that you could rent that is use for prying the pulley.

Note: make sure to release slowly so not to damage pulley.

My echo has two belts. Not one, like shown in this diagram. This diagram doesn't work for me, or anyone else that has my belt setup with two belts. One for the AC/Alt, and one for the power steering.

How do I stop my v-belt from making squeeling noises on my Toyota Echo 2004.

Squealing is usually an indication of belt wear. Check the underside of the belt for worn or "shiny" spots. If it's worn it's slipping and is most likely not only the cause of the squeal but could impact the charging and cooling systems.
If the belt is in good shape and/or has been replaced recently, it may just need to be tightened. All new belts develop some play after initial installation after they have "broken in". If the belt is in good shape and is tight, the problem most likely lies elsewhere (bad bearing in waterpump or power steering pump, or alternator) I hope you found this post helpful. Best of luck! Greg
