Audio system I tried recharging my bluetooth in the car lighter with a 300 V electric charger. Since then, audio system, clock and car lighter won't work. I checked the fuses and they are all ok. How can I fix it? What is there to do? Thanks

The fuse in postion 32 (15 Amp) in the box under the dash by the steering wheel also powers your cigarette lighter and radio also powers the clock.

My lighter won't work and this means my cell phone

If the lighter won't work, your cell phone charger might not either. It is possibly the fuse or it has burned or shorted out. The fuse panel is under the dash on either side of the car. Look at the diagram on the cover and replace the fuse with exact number.

I pack my car this morning and when i came back to stat it it couldn,t.so it was jump started. i drove for less than one mile and and it went off again. i recharged the battery again, i drove...

3 possibilities are:
  • Dead cell in battery; a battery with a dead cell won't accept a charge from the alternator
  • Bad alternator; if the car will run on it's own without stalling, the alternator is probably still good; if the car stalls you may have alternator problems
  • Bad starter; (assuming you've ruled out alternator problems) a bad starter will start when the car is cold; once warm, it requires more power to engage than the battery has therefore, it needs a jump start
I'd advise bringing the car to a shop (most autoparts chains will do a free electrical system check) and have the electrical system checked.

Runs for 1 day next morning completley dead. recharged same thing next morn.

There can some draining of battery when the car is idling . this can be due to many reasons and the tracing of such a leak in the electrical system must be done.
You will need a good ammeter/ multimeter to check the drain current, isolate the circuit and check. Possible to check the car audio/video systems, the remote lock or the clock circuit.

Depends whether you want the clock or the cig lighter try disconnecting the lighter and if the clock still works it is more than likely something in the lighter.they are inexspensive to replace.

While using a GPS car charger there was an electrical problem which caused the cigarette lighter and the clock to stop and may be other things will not work properly . What shall I do?

check the fuse for the cigarette lighter and the clock is on the same circuit I think,do you know what caused the problem in the first place, check to see if there is a piece of something metallic(gum wrapper, etc)in the bottom of the cigarette lighter that could possibly cause a short.

How do i connect my mobile phone to the in car one

It is not a bluetooth system. I called the dealer about it and it needs to be a specific phone when purchased at the time of the car for it to work. Otherwise the Jag dealer offers an aftermarket setup running over $300-500. Cheaper to go w/ a bluetooth headset.
