SOURCE: 1986 honda civic fan not working

check for power at the fan. The fan may went out, but you need to check the fuse and relay for this. the relay turns it on and off and the fuse is a preventive measure.

SOURCE: Trying to find the transmission

Stand facing the engine, at the far end of the engine compartment you will see the battery, with a flash lite look down between the battery and the big black air flow box right in front you. It has a circular ring on top and is yellow, pull straight up.

1986 Honda Prelude Problem where does the automatic transmission fluid go in a Honda Prelude 1986 automatic car?

There is a dipstick in the transmission down by the radiator. It is yellow in color. You add the fluid thru the dipstick hole. Check the fluid with the engine off.

Oil dipstick tube

On my girlfriend's 93 (same generation), it's right in front, between the two middle exhaust manifold runners. You should see a hole in the heat shield, and the dipstick handle is right there. If the dipstick is missing, look through that hole with a flashlight and you'll see the tube there.
