2001 grand marque when i try to turn it over it clicks a lot then a 20 amp fuse under the dash blows. when i try it again the check engine light comes on, fuel pump does turn on, what could it be?

check engine light comes on ! Have the vehicle checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes , that would probably point to the problem . What does the fuse power ? What number is the fuse ? A fuse blowing is a direct result to a short to ground .

1997 jeep grand Cherokee keeps blowing 20 amp fuse under the hood cranks but no start

A fuse that keeps blowing means you have a short. Inspect the wiring that goes to the fuel pump. It can also mean there that the pump is defective.

1997 grand marque what does fuse #7 control and why does it blow when the ignition iws turned on

Fuse information should be posted near the fuses and is in your owners manual, PDF copies are available at fordowner.com and I was able to google it here: http://www.crownvic.net/drock96marquis/images/fuses/95-97cvgmqINTfuses.jpg. The chart I was able to locate says fuse 7 is for the PCM Power Diode and the Ignition Coils. Does the car start? I understand that the Power Diodes go bad and the car won't start.

1997 GC Jeep, 4.0 L . Keeps blowing fuel pump fuses. Told that 20 amp was recommended.

You should always replace fuses with the same rated fuse as the one removed. Most likely if it keeps blowing the same fuse something in that circuit is directly shorted out. What fuse is it that keeps popping?
