Question about 1998 Volkswagen Beetle
Hi I am Vortash check that your thermostat is not stuck by removing it and placing it in a pan of boiling water take it out and see if it is open check the manual for what temprature that it supposed to open and use a thermometer in the water to monitor it ,check that you do not have emulsified oil indicating a cylinder head gasket leak .. remove the temprature sender to the fan and check it is working I usually just hold a cigarette lighter under it for a while with the ignition on usually works if unsure replace it , check for leaks inside the car as well as out as the heater matrix is also prone to leakage ...
