Question about 1997 Lincoln Continental
My 97 lincoln continental keeps saying the door is ajar when all four are obviously closed. Now the interior lights won't turn off and I'd really like to have battery power to start my car in the morning.
The door switches are part of the door latch, the easiest way to remedy this is to spray liberal amounts of WD40 into each latch and open and close the each door a few times, this should loosen up the latch and solve your problem.
Hope this helps.
