CV joint replacement is necessary. Quick check...commonly if you look under the car at the axles (both sides) going to the front wheels, you will see rubber boots covering the CV joints (2 on each side) that will be cracked or split open. These dry out or wear and will leak out all the lubricant. These are normal wear and tear parts like brakes. Most repair shops will check them for free. Typically about $150 each side by a shop or about $50 each side for DIY'r. Best of luck in resolving this problem.

SOURCE: Loud clicking noise when 4wd is engaged on left wheel when turnin

Check your cv (constant velocity joint) , It may have a big clearance which is the source of the noise when turning left or right and when 4wd is engage. Juts like front wheel drive cars, if the cv joint is with clearance it will tend to sound in the left or right turns. It is not exactly clicking sound , nmore like knocking sound , low in pitch, but not heavy.

SOURCE: 2006 chevy uplander noise coming from front left

You need to jack the front left wheel off of the ground and try to get movement from in and out wiggle it put one hand on top of tire one on bottom of tire and **** it in and out to see if that bearing is loose .. if so it might need replaced or maybe take it appart and grease it.. I believe those are only replaceable .. not greasable.. thanks jerry P.S I would do this soon sounds like it could leave you stranded with more expensive problems ..

Where is the camshaft position sensor on a 2006 isuzu i280

You probably need a camshaft position actuator solenoid. 12597025 is the gm part number and its on the passenger side of cylinder head at the front of engine. They gave trouble when they first came out with this engine on this gm built truck. See www.myisuzuparts.com for a picture.
