Question about 2000 Chevrolet Astro
WILL NOT SWITCH AIR FLOW .STUCK IN DEFORST VENT .IT WILL NOT SWITCH TO AIR VENT OR FLOOR VENT STAYS IN DEFROST VENT. I REPLACE A BROKEN VACUUM CANASTER DID NOT SOLVE PROBLEM. DOES THE DAMPER TO SWITCH THIS WORK OFF OF VACCUM OR ELECTRICAL MOTOR. 2000 CHEVY ASTRO
I found a broken vacuum hose on top of the intake which runs the controls

The correct culprit is the vacuum hose that is about 1/8" and about 2' long. does anyone know where that connects to. when i took off the shroud, i accidentally pulled the vacuum hose out. Thanks!

The "MODE" door works off of an electric motor.
