Hi when I have the A/C on in my 2002 Toyota corolla on there is a lot of water leaking out from under my dashboard into the passenger footwell and I can hear water hitting the engine and making hissing noise like when water gets put on something hot so I assume that its leaking in the engine bay aswell. I think that my drain pipe isn't working, how do I fix it? thank you

well if you have water or coolant leaking on to the rug in your car, first you must remember that every car has 2 radiators. One for the Engine which is in the front of your car under the hood and one for your heater, which is usually hidden deep behind the dash inside of your car. So if you are leaking fluids on to the rug in the car; Im 90% sure its going to be something dealing with the heater radiator. What you have to do is find out where your heater radiator is on your car and check all the hoses.

Yes it sounds like the drain pipe from the vent infront of the w/screen was blocked up as usual and it comes out down either side under the front mudgaurds as its the place were the wiper motor is fitted and the place that ****** the air from out side for your heater .so when its bunged up then yes it will overflow into the car through the heater vents,,so keep them clean with a 10lbs of air from a compressor.
DO about just after summer each year.. RON
and blow from the pipe under the mudgaurd up as it will only take you 10 minutes that way, just find the drain pipe ..

under the car there is a rubber drain tube you can blow compressed air in it to remove the clog.
