Question about 1999 Jeep Wrangler
Jeep gear shifter moves freely from park to drive.. the jeep won't turn on.. the lights turn but the engine won't start. at first before i turned off the jeep, it would only go forward even if the gear shift was in park. the gear shift moves freely from park to drive and it seemed to have a lot of power when it did move.

Try to check the trans mission gears of your 1995 jeep grand cherokee.The shift fork and the clutch sleeve of the trans mission is locking to the other gears .And then also check the starter motor and its solenoid.if the starter motor solenoid is destroyed or worn out replace .
