Question about 2001 Toyota Sequoia
The truck started stumbling up to 50 like it was misfiring. Now it will start and run with a rough idle but the second I hit the gas it shuts off and wont start back up again for several hours. I have changed the spark plugs and wires and the fuel filter. The fuel pump is working good. I had a p0402 code throw up but I have recently replaced both upper and lower o2 sensors. Where do I go from here?

Check the voltage of battery with voltmeter.. It is sometimes possible that if voltage of battery drops and jump start is needed, your computer will only charge to the last voltage that was recognized which would be when jumped...Try and charge the battery if possible I would actually suggest that you have your battery tested at local auto parts store and if it is presumed in good condition ,let them charge for you to max capacity . If battery has been tested and labeled as no good replace if necessary... Oh, and first thing you should do is make sure your positive and negative battery connections are clean and tight...if this didnt fix problem please give more info on what was found when advice above was followed...Good Luck!!!!

Sounds like the fuel pressure regulator. Could also be that the timing jumped. But I'm leaning towards the pressure regulator. Hope that I could help. Best wishes.

Clean/Inspect Intake, MAF sensor, IAC valve for proper operation. Also check for vacuum leaks within the air intake hose and intake components. Hopefully this helps
