Question about Cars & Trucks

1 Answer

Firing through intake

VW Polo 1.4 16v 2002 model It was suggested that the hole in the wheel should be in the 5 O'clock position and the minus 2 tooth in the 9 O'clock position, but that is imposible due to that the two is opposite of each other. For example if the hole is at the 6 O'clock position then the two tooth gap is at the 12 O'clock position. Could anyone please be so kind and help me on this. I have tried the agents in Cape Town but with no luck My e-mail firesbl@gmail.com

Red this article:

Eventhough the level is right, the fluid might need replacing (every 3~5 years and 50.000-100.000 miles).

You can read how to recognize bad/old fluid here: http://www.hondaclub.com/forum/articles/1492-power-steering-fluid-lifeline-your-steering-system.html

What is the firing order for a VW polo 1998 - where is number one on the distributor?

What you need to do is...

1, Find TDC (top dead centre) for cylinder number 1. Easiest way to do this is to get the car on level ground, put it in 5th gear, handbrake off and pull / rock the car forwards. You are looking to line up the timing dot on the crank pulley to the notch on the cover. At the same time observe which direction the rotor arm turns as well i.e. clock or anti-clock wise.

2, Once you have found TDC, look to where the rotor arm is pointing and that will be towards plug number ones lead position.

3, Now assuming the firing order is 1-3-4-2 and #1 cylinder is at the opposite end to the gearbox, you should be able to work out what goes where.

4, Look at the rotor arm position as you have set up the timing, fit the cap then fit the lead to #1 cylinder. Fit the other leads as above.

Dear Customer,

1
check your sensors 1st,all sensors must be good

2
if all sensors are working good than check your engine firing sequence, some times happens when sequence was wrong,

3
check your exhaust and carborator tuning pin that creates the batter combination for firing in bore for batter performance & less emitions ,so check is it ok or not than go to your nearest service center that havad certified mechanics,

till you read this you had solve this problem definatly,

THNX
