Question about 1995 Chevrolet S-10 CA Edition
Have a 4.3 engine starts runs clean about 20-30 seconds starts sputtering and stalls, have put new throttle position sensor, idle air control, map and cleaned EGR valve. Also replaced the fuel pressure regulator and rebuilt throttle body. Any idea what I need to do next?
Did you put a replacement injector assembly in under the upper intake, this is a major problem with this model. How's your fuel mileage? If this is your prob you need to change it because the leaking fuel goes down in your oil pan, thins the oil and blows your engine. Check your oil, is it over full or smell like gas?

Spray the intake with carb cleaner to find the vacuum leak. Check where the EGR mounts and the throttle body gasket sense you had both off.

Try a new fuel filter. If that doesn't help, check the fuel pressure--may be a plugged intake sock filter inside the fuel tank.
