I would start with the most used item first, the ignition switch. They wear out.

sounds like the idle air control motor is sticking , not sure what engine you have 3.4 litre ?? also you can ck the throttle plate right on top where the throttle cable bracket assembly part of that bracket holds down a vaccum line that has a rubber gromnet that after time leaks causing idle surge , hope this helps

Most likely it is the voltage regulator in the alternator . this is common of a alternator be for going bad, some times this is caused from jump starting.rarely it could be a intermittent short. but it would save a lot of time to have the alternator Thrilley tested or even replaced.it really don't mater about the volt out put.if the reg. is failing .hope this helps .if you want any further assistance feel free to ask.we are here to help.

04 honda accord 3.0 V6, auto: MIL and both TCS lights on with loss of power

it sounds like a probem with the correlation of the throttle position sensor and the P.C,M, With the drive by wire system, throttle is no longer a command, but rather a request for throttle provided the P.C.M. gives the ok after taking readings from various sensors. this correlation for whatever reason goes wrong and often neds attention from the manufacturers mechanic for a relearn, which will relearn the throttles home position and correct the problem.

Driving lights and dash lights blowing 15 amp fuse

From your description this looks like overcharging. Check your charging system for overcharging and the wiring. A loose connection to the regulator can cause a surge in charge voltage and let out a very high voltage.

Do you know how to test automotive electrical circuits ? Checking B+ voltage an grounds ? Voltage drop testing ? Do you know what a electrical wiring diagram is ? How to use one to pin point testing spots in a electrical circuit ! A couple simple test's using a DVOM - digital volt ohm meter is probably all it would take to find the problem . High resistance in a power or ground circuit is probably all it is .

Whenever i turn the wheel on my 2000 buick lesabre, my car acts like it wants to shut off and sometimes while im driving it does shut off, but cranks rite back up! It also idles high sometimes. What could...

Well you have a three part question...so part one the engine whats to shut off when you turn the wheel>there is a steering pressure switch located on the power hose line running to your power steering pump,,,it has an electrical connector make sure it hasn;t come loose or fuild leaking at base of switch or on top by connection...this switch sends a signal to your computer to increase the engine speed when the wheel is cranked so it doesn't stall ..Number 2 while driving shuts down can be a number of things but sort of relates to Number 3 idleing high sometimes...On your throttle body there is a component called a IAC sensor [idle air control} it should be tested sometimes the oring seal goes bad...also check condition of your air filter,if your vehicle has a MAF sensor {mass air flow } it also could be dirty....so with your air filter off and engine running spray some THROTTLE body cleaner into the opening of throttle while increasing the Rpm's of the throttle...Hope this leads you the right way
