SOURCE: How do you drain a

You can turn a wing nut that is usually attached to the radiators bowl. If this is stuck or you do not want to take a chance on messing something up all you have to do is take off the bottom radiator hose and it will all flow out. Make sure you do this after the vehicle has not been running for aan hour or so.

SOURCE: 1988 chevy pick up truck speed not working

These are run by a module on your trans now. It is the same one that shifts the truck. They are kind of expencive to replace. You will see it on the driverside of you truck on the side of the trans. There is going to be two that you will see it is going to be the inside one that runs the speedo.

How to drain the radiator Chevy 1986 Chevy van 2.0

There should be a stop **** at the base of the radiator but it is probably easier and quicker, to remove the bottom hose.

I have a 1988 chevy s10 4 cylinder. Its over heating off and on for the last week or 2. I just replaced the thermostat and flushed my radiator but its still overheating

Drive the vehicle until operating temp. Turn vehicle off and CAREFULLY put hand between engine and radiator. If you feel any cool spots on your hand on the radiator side, you have blockage and are only using a fraction of the radiator to cool with. This is most likely the issue. But here is a list of what I would do first. Drain fluid. Remove thermostat. Install thermostat housing without thermostat. Run a flush through engine following instructions for deep cleaning. Drain . remove hoses. Run water through block. Make sure water can pass through. Replace thermostat. Run hose through radiator. Replace all hoses fill it back up and check again. Also replace hoses if they are old or weak. If the problem occurs going up hills but seems OK on flat ground I would blame the radiator.

Does a 1988 chevy g20 radiator interchange with a 1994 chevy surburban radiator?

Try it, as long as the hoses (inlet & outlet) are the same, and your automatic tranny lines hook up. Also see if yours has a thermo sensor on the radiator.

Where is the radiator drain plug located on a 97 chevy 1500 Z71? I'm trying to flush the radiator, but cannot find it.

It's located on the drivers side of the radiator opposite of the lower radiator hose. Note: you may be better off disconnecting the lower radiator hose, it's common for the drain plug to break or the O-rings to split causing more work to drain the radiator. That's why most tech's will drain the radiator from the lower radiator hose, less chance of breaking the radiator drain plug and most new cars now don't come with a drain plug to the radiator.

Thermostat replacement for a 89 Chevy

If you follow the upper radiator hose from the radiator to the engine, it's right there. 2 bolts hold the housing in place and the thermostat is under it.
