.dawn dish soap, hot water, micro fiber, and squeegee. And a dry towel. Mix in a bowl or container. Wipe the solution all over the windshield, use squeegee to dry and done. The oily residue is gone in one pass usually. The sufactants in dawn grab the oils. works great on the outside of the wind shield as well.

Headliner on my sunroof has fallen down. It is a 2009 Lincoln MKX. How do I fix it?

You will need to remove the entire headliner, being careful not to crack the foam it is constructed. You will need to remove all the plastic door pillar covers, any clothes hangers, the dome light, etc.
You can purchase headliner fabric and adhesive at most fabric stores. The personnel there will assist you in getting the correct adhesive. You must remove all the old headliner fabric and backing pad material to get to the foam core for installation of the new headliner fabric. Lay out the fabric and cut it to size, allowing for some overlap in case you err slightly when positioning it. You will apply the adhesive to the foam core and to the back of the headliner fabric. It is a contact-type cement. Carefully position the fabric over the foam core and work from the center out to position it, being careful not to trap wrinkles or to stretch the fabric excessively. Trim off the excess and reinstall headliner.

How to remove grease splashes from emulsion painted wall

Basically you can't without affecting the Paint underneath ((
If only light splashes then a conventional kitchen cleaner will do BUT only put the cleaner on the cloth, work a small area at a time.
After doing getting it off and allowing it to dry, then use a lint free cloth, soaked in warm water to "scrub" paint from surrounding areas into damaged area but not too hard otherwise will go through the paint levels. Then allow to dry naturally ))

What type or size battery is needed for a 2004 Honda CRV.

24F or 35 is the battery size for the Honda CRV or a 12 volt battery. As for the type You can get a dry cell battery.

To replace the battery, please follow the steps below:
  1. Look for the battery on the driver's side, just behind the slanted headlight box.
  2. Remove the metal holder with a flathead screwdriver. Take out the long screws that hold the plate in place.
  3. Disconnect the cable ends from the battery terminals with a battery terminal puller.
  4. Lift the battery out of the compartment. Keep your gloves on at all times to avoid getting acid on your hands.
  5. Use a wire brush to clean the surface that holds the battery. Wipe it down with a damp cloth and let it dry.
  6. Clean the insides of the connector cables with a pointed wire brush and dry them off with an old cloth you can throw away.
Hope this helped. Thank You for using FixYa!!!

How to remove window handle it is not power need to put window back on track and having trouble removing door liner

to remove a manual window crank, you need a dish cloth. there is a type of C-clip with the open end under the handle projection. so you use the dish cloth like you dry your back, but the crank under the handle projection is your back. back and forth and eventually the dish towel will snag the C-clip end and pop it off. the crank handle then slides off.

Engine got wet and wont start

Find the distributor cap and pull it off. Wipe it out with a dry rag/cloth. Dry the rotor and beneath also with a cloth.
Most likely have moisture in that area killing the spark.
It may start now, if it's dried.
No biggy :-)

From the sound of things I would say that your heating element needs replacing, they dont last for ever, its worth while getting a repair man to replace it. your dryer should then work normally. I hope this helps.

Engine turns over but does not fire (start)

Remove distributor cap (red cap with the spark plug wires going to it) check for water, if water is apparent, dry with a lint free cloth then clean the metal nodes with a fine emery cloth.
