Can you bypass the security system on a 2006 buick lacrosse. I don't have a passkey just a regular key and now it's saying starting disabled and the vehicle wont crant

No you can't bypass anti-theft systems as they are designed to stop exactly what you are trying to do.

Do you mean a 'valet key' that will just open the doors and glove box? Rather than a full starting key. I have never heard of a 'passkey' on a vehicle.

Contact a dealership with the vehicle VIN number and they will make you a key.that has the anti-theft chip in it. They aren't cheap but it is the only way if you have lost the original.

How do i change the fuel filter on a 1992 Ford F 250 7.3 Liter diesel.

fuel filter problems come in slowly as in loss of power. It it just died and will not start I would be looking elsewhere for the problem. A good place to start would be the fault codes to check for cam/crank position sensor faults, immobiliser operation, timing belt condition. If you ran the fuel too low it may have air in the system that will have to be bled out. Best have an accredited diesel shop specialist look at it.

Are u sure u getting gas to the enging , u have to make sure u getting gas . Or used the quick start and spray little bit in the throttle body , this is where the air filter is and the hose that lead to the throttle body. If it start. A little then u know it is gas problem .

What does the crank sensor look like?

I've attached a photo. It's under the timing cover near the crankshaft.

No tail lights on my 05 nissan navara and crant find a fuse for it

fuse should be in engine compartment fuse box. I cannot access the manual, as this car is not in our database (Europe only?). There is also a relay. The relay should click when you step on the brake. If not, replace the relay. If you have more questions, please reply.

My car won't star on

Turn the key to the ON position for about 15 mins. then turn the back one stop. After that, try to start the car again. If that doesn't work turn the key all the way back to the OFF poistion for a second or two and then try to start the car again.
My daughter had this issue and I found this solution on another site and worked perfectly. They says this can happen if you attempt to start the car to quickly. It will enage the security system. They recommend turning the key to the ON position first and wait until the instrutment gauges re-set before attempting to start the car.

Hope this helps you out. Good Luck !
