Check power steering drive belt tension or check steering pump by removing drive belt and turning pump manually. i do my own fixing and buy parts on ebay they're cheaper and you can find free shipping too just make sure to give the correct car info.

SOURCE: steering hard to turn to the left like power

bad steering problems,,your steering rack most likely, but, have you recently been stuck in ditch? when wheels are straight, look at front of car when parked. do wheels look funny? one going one way, and the other going the other? may be alignment. is it leaking any fluid on either side of the front of the car? drivers side? passenger side? if it's not out of alignment,,,wheels out of alignment,,the steering rack is the problem. it may be faulty. if not leaking fluid,it may still be bad. first i would make a visual test look under the vehicle while someone turned the steering wheel to right and left while car is in park, emergency brake on!! look at the steering arms while they turn the steering wheel from right to left. no fluid leaks? any resistance in turning the wheel? any leaks,if so,go to leak and repair with steering line replacement.no leaks? suspect a bad steering rack. hope this helps and thank you for choosing fixya.com i love to volunteer

SOURCE: Steering wheel hard to turn when sitting still

it could be the steering gear on the column, the filter in the pump may also need to be cleaned.

My 1997 chef s-10 key won't come out of ignition engine light gives all kind of transmission solenoid codes i changed three solenoids it still not fixed I'm lost

Here is a long shot chance. Many cars & trucks, particularly GM, which most all use the same steering column, can have the key lock in the switch and will not come out.
This has been a problem for many, many years. ( 30 + )
Try this: Using your left hand and holding the steering wheel on the far left side, try to force the steering wheel up or down, kinda hard, but not super hard. You could also turn it right and left slowly and with some muscle. Sometimes, all of a sudden, the key will come out if you use the other hand to try to wiggle it back and forth.
Be blessed.

if you have to spay the belt to get it to stop then the belt is most likly streched or bad. take the belt off and turn all the free spinng pullys alt, power steering,a/c,ect if all spin good with no horible sounds then replace the belt , if any turn hard then this is what the problem is.but im betting it's the belt

02 Durango: loud engine/exhaust sound. Also Recently noticed the cooling fan running more than normal; had someone check the antifreeze/coolant....it was empty....had them put in a 50/50mix of coolant and...

That noise is probably the air injection system which is part of the emmision system. When it is making that noise, open the hood and determine where it is coming from, note if it is a mechanical sound, etc. The air injection if equiped would sound almost like forced air scaping somewhat like an exhaust leak, but less intense.

Keep an eye on the coolant level, you might have a cracked engine block!!!
Watch for steam around Motor Block once the engine gets warm.
