Question about Cars & Trucks
I was driving it last night and when I turned it off there was an unwinding sound after the motor was off. Today on the way home from the store, abs and trac light came on I was able to drive it another mile to my house. While approaching my driveway all the lights came on as the car stalled . It turns over but will not start.

SOURCE: Fuel pump or something else
Hi the trac off light and the car not running have nothing to do with each other
the TRAC OFF LIGHT will set a code in the EBCM
to check the fuel pump remove the gas cap and have someone turn the key to run and while you listen at the filler neck if you can hear a humming noise then the pump is working
if the pump is working then check fuel pressure and spark
hopes this helps you

no you need to take it and have the codes pulled on it, the abs system will disable the traction control system.Without knowing what the codes are for the abs system it would not be possible to say what the problem is.

mcdevito75 here, It could be the air idle valve or motor, Best Bet while that check engine light is on, have your auto repair shop take a scan of your vehicles computer and sensors.
