How to bleed the fuel line on a 2012 Chevy impala

There should be a schrader valve on the fuel rail up on top the motor before it gets to the injectors, relieve all fuel pressure, and then remove the valve core from the schrader valve with a valve core tool. Connect a small rubber hose over the schrader valve and put the other end into a small bucket. Cycle the key in the ignition, but do not start the car, and this will cause the fuel pump to pump small amounts of fresh fuel from the tank through the lines and out into the bucket. Do this as many times as it takes until the old fuel is out of the lines.

Still don't have the answer ton how I realease the pressure on the gas line on a 2005 dodge magnum

I'd probably pull the fuel pump relay, then try to start the engine, if it starts, it won't run for long with the fuel pump disabled.
If there is a Schrader valve on your fuel rail, under the hood, you could relieve pressure that way.
My fuel pressure gage has a pressure bleed-off valve on it. It seems more and more vehicles are doing away with Schrader valves on the fuel rail, I guess it is cheaper to manufacture w/o. Just makes it harder on everybody, in my opinion.

How to test to make sure fuel pump is getting power

You could check for fuel pressure at the injection rail assembly, especially if there is a Schrader valve on the rail. The Schrader valve looks like an air valve and operates the same way. Push in on the valve stem to see if fuel comes out under pressure. Have rags around the valve to catch the gas. Best is to attach a pressure gauge to the valve, and then you can read the pressure. Possibly Auto Zone or Advance will the gauge as a loaner. This will comfirm the fuel pump is working and providing the correct pressure.

Location of fuel pressure test valve

Not sure about what engine you have, but here is the general procedure.

Open the hood. Disconnect the negative battery cable from the battery.
Look on the front of the engine and find the fuel rail. The fuel pressure regulator is on the right side of the fuel rail. Follow the fuel lines toward the firewall until you come to a Schrader valve with a black cap. Rotate the cap counterclockwise and remove it from the valve.
Wrap a shop rag around a small flat-head screwdriver and press the center pin in the Schrader valve - you have relieved fuel pressure when no more fuel comes from the valve. Install the cap back onto the Schrader valve. Hope that helps.

Where is the schrader valve

I assume you are looking for the test port for the fuel system?

If so you will not find a schrader valve. You will need a banjo style test fitting that will replace the banjo bolt that holds the fuel line to either the fuel filter or the fuel rail. you will then be able to attach a pressure gauge to the fitting and check fuel pressure.

Where is the Schrader valve on a ford Explorer 1995 V6

I believe the schrader valve for checking your fuel pressure can be seen looking from the passenger side of the engine. It is on the fuel rail, which is installed between your lower and upper intake manifold sections, about the center of the fuel rail.

Hope helps (remember rated this) Good luck.
