Car jerking and losing power

I notice that my 04 elantra has begun to start jerking at first only when I had my foot on the brake, now it is starting to do it while I'm driving and when I go in reverse. I went to the dealership three times and they could not find anything wrong. I just got my 60,000 mile, service and thought this would fix the problem but it did not. Please help

2003 Hyundai Elantra won't start, but has power. Trying to put car from park to neutral.

Is it possible that the battery isn't fully charged? The interlock is electro-mechanical. Turning the ignition on and putting for foot on the brake should release the shifter lock as you said.

For starting issues you need to connect a scan tool and check for DTCs.

When i mash my brakes on the 03 escalade esv 6.0 and start my engine i can feel the brake pedal jerk under my foot is this normal

Yes, when your engine starts, it is providing either vacuum or power steering pressure to your brake assist system. Vacuum if vacuum system or power steering pressure in a hydroboost system, which ever your vehicle has. Either way it is normal.

I have an 04 hyundai elantra and it jerks when i drive, i took it to the shop and no codes came up and no check engine light came up. My car needs a fuel pump could this be why the car jerking? And when...

I would check the transmission fluid. It may need changed and the filter changed. Perhaps you are not getting a good spark from your spark plugs or coils. Has it been awhile since you had a tune up?

Your transmission is slipping which can cause a huge amount of damage both to the car and your wallet. Take it in for service as soon as you can.

Sudden release of power while driving at 65 miles

at that high a mileage it could be very likely the trans is starting to fail, have the computer tested for transmission trouble code's (trans is fully electronically shifted and controlled), also it is very unlikely the alignment check is related.

04 hyundai gt

sounds like the transmission fluid level is incorrect. Follow the instructions in the owner's manual. You'll need a funnel, rags, and Hyundai transmission fluid ($15 a litre in Canada)
