Question about 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis
If it sits for a day it will start right up but if runs for awhile and I turn it off and let sit while im a work it takes 10 or more trys to start
Check the plugs and wires and the fuel pressure also have the cam and crank sensors checked for on off collection at start up this needs to be in the condition of hard to start not when starts good

Check in the trunk and push the button on the Inertia switch. It should be on the drivers side of the trunk.
If this does not help, get a fuel filter and change it. If you can possibly get a fuel sample from the disconnected gas lines do it.
The new 10% gasohol will separate if it stands a few months. You may need to add fresh gas with a drying chemical like "Heet".

Does this guy understand what the computer does on this car. You will not have feul ot spark if the computer is not powered up. You have a short , that is what is blowing fuses. Fuses will last forever or until more amperage that they can handle passes through them.
