SOURCE: battery draining fast

I would check the alternator again, it apparently isn't charging the battery with engine running. You need a volt meter or amp meter to test this. Also does the battery discharge when the car is not running?

SOURCE: 2005 Honda CRV won't start

if the clicking sound is coming from the engine compartment, it is the starter solenoid. let her try it a couple of times. sometimes it would connect and start the car. then she can bring it home.

SOURCE: 2004 Honda CRV Check Engine light

the check engine lamp is not affected by things like tyres, brakes etc. It shows that the vehicles engine management system had detected a fault with the engine or engine sensors. Check the engine for broken or disconnected wiring (maybe it was disconnected during the replacing of the hoses but not reconnected). If you fail to locate anything, check the manual for the correct fault code retrieval procedure or take the vehicle to a professional. Tyres may affect your ABS system or Airbag systems but they usually have their own warning lamp and are unrelated to the check engine lamp..

I have a 2000 honda crv the lights were left on and drained the battery my friend was going to jump it for me but put the cables on backwards and the horn started to blow cables were taken off right away...

yes you can. first disconnect battery and remove horn relay from fuse box under hood.next lock the drivers door with the key.. now replace that 100 amp battery fuse. hard to find might have to go to dealer. replace that fuse the reconnect the battery. next open drivers door with key and start the engine. once its running go back and replace that horn relay you removed and shut the hood...good luck. did this on an accura just the other day myself!!

98 honda crv wil start if jump started and then later won't start

Your battery is not fully charged and may not be accepting a full charge. Remove your battery and put it on a charger overnight. Take the battery to a parts store and have them hook it up. They will then be able to tell if it is taking a full charge or not. If this is a new battery it will take a full charge but it is still getting drained by something such as a radio not shutting off automatically, if you have that option.

2002 Neon. Radio shut off, lights went off and heat shut off, and started idling bad. Eventually it staled. Put in a new battery and it started right up. Next day same thing. Is it the altenator or wiring...

sounds like the regulator is bad in the altenator. Start vehicle and disconnect negative cable from battery. If it stays running you have another problem. If it stalls out right away the altenator isnt working.

How do you reset a 2005 Honda CRV airbag light?

with a SCANNER.
your mechanic or Honda Dealer will provide this service....
Disconnecting the battery won`t do you any good.
You will have to fix the air-bag problem first before you can erase the airbag light...

Its a 2007 only has 36,000 miles and lately it won't start i put a new battery in it and low and behold it takes 5 to 10 trys to get it started sometimes and othertimes it starts right up

sounds like your started might be going out. have that checked and also if your losing power or draining batteries quick it could lead to needing a new altenator just wanted to throw that in there hope it helps good luck

My 2005 Honda CRV sometimes won't start but after a few minutes it starts and runs fine. The dealer said the battery needed to be changed. A year later I put a new battery in and the problem is still...

What you didn't mansion is does the engine crank and no start or when you turn the key nothing happened. So for right now I am going to assume the engine doesn't crank due to the dealer saying it needs a battery. For this simple test you need 2 people and a hammer. When person 1 turns the key to crank position and car doesn't crank hold the key in the start position don't let up have person 2 open hood and tap on starter couple times and if car starts cranking and starts up the car is going to need starter. I found quit a few bad starters in Honda. If the car cranks but doesn't start check if it has spark. Another common problem is the distributors go bad but they cost a lot and you should do the proper test to make sure thats the problem.

2004 honda CRV barrery drained. Can u suggest wat to do? The car is not starting now.

Your altenator is bad you need a new one the one on it now is not recharging your hondas battery all the way and more and likely the battery is running your electrical system and that is why, your honda wil not start and you will need a new battery awell.
