SOURCE: 2002 expedition- Driver window suddenly won't

I would recommend removing the door panel to check power to the motor. If you have power when the switch is pressed ,the motor is bad. You will have power on one wire in the up position and power on the other wire in the down position. I hope this helps,good luck

SOURCE: 2000 expedition pedal adjustment is stuck. Any ideas?

If the brake pedal makes a crunching noise,try flushing out the brake fluid. For some reason after flushing the noise goes away. I hope this helps,goodluck.

SOURCE: 2004 Supercrew Lariat no driver power seat or pedal adjust

Maybe, you can diag yourself with a test light and an ohmmeter. These will cost less at sears than having a dealer diag it. Check fuse 109 in the cab, that's the fuse for the driver's seat module. If that fuse is ok, then check power at the module. It's a little black box under the driver's seat with i think 3 connectors. Back probe the dark green wire at the connector with a test light, you should have power, even with the key off. If not, repair the circuit. Clamp the test light to battery positive and back probe the black wire, if the light does not light, repair that ground circuit. Test the memory set switch by measuring with an ohmmeter points 7 and 2, 7 and 6, 7 and 5 resistance should be less than 5 ohms, if not replace it. If all these tests pass, disconnect the connectors from the module and give 12v to the red and white wire. If the seat moves, have the module replaced at the dealer, it will have to be programmed.

Ford Expedition 2001, #rd Brake lamp is not working please help.

At the central junction block, find 20A fuse 13 and check it. This fuse supplies power to the brake pedal position switch and switch output is applied to the three high mount stop lamps. If the regular stop lamps work when the brake pedal is pressed, the switch is OK. All three high mount stop lamps may have burned out

I have a 2002 Ford Expedition and the brake light will not turn off. We do not use the e-brake. can anyone help with this problem?

Your stop light switch has failed. This is the switch operated every time you operate the brake
pedal. This switch fails in one of two ways - always open (brakes lights don't work), or always
closed (brake lights won't turn off).

To replace a stoplight switch, first determine what type of switch you have.

If you have an electrical switch mounted to the brake pedal in the passenger compartment:

* Unplug the wire connector at the back of the switch.
* Unscrew the switch.
* Replace with a new switch. Adjust the adjustment nut as needed.
* Plug the wires back in.

If you have a hydraulic pressure switch that is mounted in the brake master cylinder:

* Mark and disconnect the wires.
* Unscrew the switch.
* Screw the replacement switch in.
* Reconnect the wires.

I can hear a hissing noise coming from the brake pedal on my 2002 Ford Escape. Its been there for a little while. Sometimes the brakes doesn't work properly, it feels a little spongy sometimes. But usually...

It sounds like the rubber diaphragm in the brake booster has developed a leak producing the hissing / sucking noise. The only option is to replace the booster as a complete assembly as they need specialist tools to repair. If the booster fails completely you will still have brakes but the pedal will be very hard and it will take a lot of muscle power to stop vehicle. Best to have booster replced soon before you experience situation described above.
