SOURCE: 2002 Buick Rendezvous Error

I have had simlar issues. The first thing to try is to diconnect the positive lead from teh battery. Be careful as there are some issuesd surrounding OEM batteries in the 02. after about 30 secs reconnect the cable. This will "reset" your system and if it is just a glitch, the problem should be gone. If this does not fix the problem it is most likely your intrument cluster, however it can also be the BCM (Body Control Module). Have a dealer check it out for you. Before you buy a replacment part from the dealer chaeck out the prices at newgmparts.com or Rock Auto, both saved me 50% or more when I needed to have these items replaced.

SOURCE: A/c problems in 2002 buick rendezvous

it does sound like your AC line has a hole in it. I would replace the hose if you can see the leak. if you cannot see it then run a dye through the system and then put on the pair of UV leak detector glasses that you can buy at the parts store for like $15

SOURCE: 2002 buick rendezvous

My gas guage went from Empty to Full on its own and I never knew how much gas was in my vehicle. I was driving the other day and it stalled. Pulled into a parking lot let it sit a bit and it started right back up and I was able to drive again. Went to nearest gas station to put gas in. I put in $10 and I drove 3.4 miles and well it died on me again. I pushed the vehicle into my garage. I called around to see what could be wrong and I was told numerous things. I finally went under the vehicle where there is this clearish/white box under the Driverside area and I noticed it was corroded and dirty. I went in the house got a spray bottle with HOT WATER and sprayed it. I noticed that I had 3 prongs broke off. So I went to a local dealership for GM/Buick and I got the pins I needed to fix the problem and I went home fixed the broken pins and well now my vehicle works great and the vehicle runs great and gas guage problem was fixed as well. So for all of you that think you might have a fuel problem, fuel pump problem or gas guage problem check into the wire harness box under your vehicle and you will be able to fix it for Pennies instead of paying the $750 or more for something you cna fix at home. I love my Rendezvous and I would buy another one again.

SOURCE: 2002 buick rendezvous "awd disable"

The most common cause for this problem that I see is a failed rear "Differential oil flow valve". You would need someone to hook up to the vehicle with a scan tool and retrieve the service code to know for sure but the valve is usually the culprit in most cases. There may be a code that says something like "rear axle over temp condition" and this relates to the valve problem. There are other things that can cause the AWD light to come on so it's always good to check first before replacing parts as the valve is fairly expensive. Good luck, hope this helps!

Why does my 2002 rendezvous not start if temp outside is below zero it cranks just wont run leave it until warmer end of day and starts right up.

Sounds like a bad temperature sensor to me. Temp sensors on newer cars tell the PCM to send more fuel on a cold start. If its malfunctioning then the PCM doesn't up the fuel. This fuel boost acts like the choke on an older vehicle

02 Buick Rendezvous won't start

Does it crank but won't start or is it a crank no start? Does the starter solenoid click or no click is heard? You need to state in detail what sort of testing has been done and the results along with detailed symptoms in order to help you better.

Buick rendezvous electric wont shut off after key is removed radio stays on and when you open door still has power with key out made the instruments in the dash act funny gas guage wont work lights stay on...

You need a new body control module. Located behind the center console under the dash. It can't be re-programed and needs to replaced with a new one that is VIN specific to your car. Dont get one from the junkyard, it wont work.

2003 Rendezvous - AWD lamp + noise & vibration from rear.

When my AWD light comes on is has always been due to uneven pressure in the tires. This is hard to believe but has worked up to now and I have 95K miles on it. It started happening around 60K. Changing the tires is another option. I would have the brakes checked if you have a noise from the rear end.

Car wont start

Check the fuel pump and filter before anything else. You can do this by having someone turn the key to on and listen for the fuel pump to kick on. That's the low buget way but it works just make sure it makes a high pitch sound and shuts off after pressurizing.
