SOURCE: ford explorer and ford explorer sport trac same exterior parts?

Above is correct, some body panels are interchangeable some aren't...Headlights, front fenders, hood yes. Doors unsure, bed and back no (obviously). The underpinnings (suspension) are similar, but not exact...and depending on the year, the Explorer went to independent rear suspension, while the sport trac kept the solid axle differential.

My freeze plug is leaking. 2002 Explorer Sport Trac ... where is it? how can I do it on my own? I am college student with no resources - so i really need some free help here.

Drain the coolant first. Then remove the old freeze plug by drilling a hole in the center and pop it out. Then put a new freeze plug with RTV around the the edges of the new plug. The best way to install the plug is to get a socket that fits inside the freeze plug to drive the plug in. (Make sure you drive it in straight) otherwise it will leak. This will take about 45 minutes to an hour. The RTV you can buy at a local parts store with the freeze plug.

My right front turn signal wont work the bulb is new the fuse is good what else can i check? it is on a 2002 Ford Explorer Sport Trac, the parking light works just not the turn signal.

Check the terminals inside the bulb socket also you could turn on right side turn signals and while holding socket in hand move wiring at base of socket to see if you might have wiring problem if that is ok leave signal and start moving back harness to see if you have a broken wire.

Leaking anti freeze

Sound like the tube that connects your heater core to the water supply from radiator. On Fords these tube are metal and very oftern rust out and need to be replaced. This is located behind and to the right (passenger) side of the engine.

Turn signal does not work at all on driver side, fast blinking on passenger side front amber bulb blinking. All fuses and bulbs are ok.

is the whole right side not working , i askthis because you do have a bulb burnt out some where even the side markers might be tied into your turn signal system , if all the bulbs are looking good , then replace the turn singal flasher/flashers and see if that take cares the problem
