P0411 - secondary air injection system, incorrect flow. Basically it means that too much air is entering the engine because one or more vacuum tubes have failed.
Unfortunately this is not covered by the warranty and you will have to fix it yourself. Inspect every single vacuum tube until you find the cracked one then replace it - it's a simple job for someone who has done that before and really knows what he's doing. If you are not such a person then take it to a repair shop, it will cost you less than $250, part included.

SOURCE: What would cause a code P0411?

Code P0411 usually indicated problem with secondary air intake. Since you just had air filter changed, try running engine without the filter. If the code disappears the problems with the new filter or its installation.

No where in GM service info does it say after replacing the battery that you need to wait two min. before starting .
Position the positive battery cable (1) to the battery.
Tighten the positive battery cable bolt.
Tighten the bolt to 15 N·m (11 lb ft).
Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .

Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

2008 Trailblazer P0411 code

The Secondary Air Pump is turned on and off by the ECU. The ECU looks at live data from the O2 sensors. The flow rate and direction of flow, is controlled by the cutoff valve. I believe this is what you are looking for. GM has a few different arrangements so you will have to call the parts department at the Dealership and they will tell you whether you have a cutoff valve, check valve, solenoid, or if is controlled by the air pump itself. If there are anymore questions feel free to write back. Please let me know how the repair is going, good luck.
