SOURCE: Rough Idle on 1984 Toyota Celica Supra

You said you replaced the plugs - did you use the toyota platinum plugs? I found out the hard way that even the platinum plugs from bosch or any other kind of platinum plug just doesn't work right. Yes, they are more expensive from toyota, but they can make a difference in the way the engine runs.

SOURCE: Timing Dpecs for Toyota Supra 87 6 cylinder

1987 non-turbo: 10 deg Before Top Dead Center (BTDC) @700 rpm
1987 Turbo: 10 deg BTDC @650 rpm.

To set the timing, you will need to connect a jumper wire between terminals E1 and TE1 on the diagnostic terminal. This diagnostic terminal is located just aft of the engine compartment fuse box. It is a black plastic box marked "diagnostic" on the cover, which flips open to reveal the terminals inside. There is a diagram on the inside of the cover which explains the terminal positions. On the Turbo model, you need to remove the forward section of the engine cover to gain access to the number one spark plug wire.

I have the 1990 model and just so happened to stumble on its unusual location today as I was replacing the door hinges. On the passenger side open the door and look above the step, there should be a little plastic cap with the wiper icon on it. hope this helps!

I have tried 4 different wiper motors for my 1985 toyota supra in the 6 months and i can't get my wipers to work more than a month what can it be ?

try this.. disconnect the wipers from the motor and work by hand..are they stiff to operate?? if so lubricate with a bit of oil or marine grease(water resistant) thats heated a bit to melting liquid..put this on the wiper mounts and see if they work fairly freely..if not replace the entire setup because they are too stiff and will burn up any motor you put on them..the wiper arms come off fairly easily..they have a clip on the base that once slid back the entire arm comes off.. then the mount gets oiled up..they may be gummed up or dragging..wd40 helps too

The rear window wiper blade holder is rusted how do I remove it for replacement?

Three things you can replace depend on your budet
1) you can replace whole wiper blabe assembly by lift up the cover at the bottom end of the bale assembly and un-screw the nut and raplace whole assembly with arm , wiper insert etc ... with the new one This way cost you more.
2) on hte middle of the whole wiper blade assy has the flexible section, you can un-screw 2 small philipe pan head screw with screw driver and disconnect the top section with the wiper blade insert (rubber)
3) slide wiper blade insert out of the holder, becareful with 2 small steel blade will hole your rubber insert inside the wiper frame. Slide new rubber insert in the frame .

How does one change the wiper blades (front and back) on a 2004 Toyota Sienna minivan?

Pretty simple, they both just snap out of the connector on the wiper arms. If you buy your wipers at Walmart or most major parts stores they will install them for free.

R2 bushing call tm engineering they make replacement bushing for the supra otherwise you will have to buy all new suspension arms as no ball joints or bushings are replacable

This may or may not be the cause could be one bent part but I would at least check the bushings out I bet they are hard as a rock I am in the middle of changing mine now. PIA
