Some vehicles have a warning light that engages when you need to change the oil. it should be reset by the service tech or you can ask around and do it yourself. may also need the carborator adjusted with the Fuel/Air mixture.

sluggish/cold start "problems"with any VW group product can be put down,in a lot of cases,to dirty injector nozzles, use redexe/wynns injector cleaner at 1 can to 1/2 tank fuel and you will feel a difference.as for the oil,VW group, use 10/40 semi synthetic in ALL their engines.(except w12 0/40)using a thin oil would pass the rings/valve guides and cause a carbon buildup inside the chamber......try it and see.....

Lost wheel key that came with 2008 jetta. how do i get whels off to rotate, 50 miles to nearest vw dealer.

Depending on the style lock I had used a socket which a hammered on so tight then took a ratchet to remove the lock. Also a muffler clamp saddle will do if hammered into the locks keyway slot. Then two pipe wrenches are needed to remove the lock that way. One wrench goes onto the muffle saddle and the other wrench attaches to the one wrench's handle so you can turn it loose .. Hard to explain but after reading this message draw a picture of my explanation to figure out.

Could be a worn rack and pinion, but first I would check the Ball joints and Tie rod ends. Hopefully it is one of those since they are much cheaper to replace.

Reset the tire pressure warning, same as you would any service issue. Insert key in ignition, hold wrench button and min button, then start engine.

If it is the immobilizer, there should be a symbol on your dash that flashes a key/car. If that is the case, only a VW dealer is authorized to program your key.
