Location of anti theft fuse on 2008 ford focus


Fuse 20 is the ECM fuse. No car would have one specifically for the antitheft circuit as you could pull the fuse and drive away. The ECM runs the antitheft system as well as the engine management. As long as the chip in the key matches the chip in the ignition lock, the ECM will release power to the ignition circuit.

Do you have an OBD11 code reader or access to one? That may tell you where the fault is.

2012 freightliner cascadia DD15 fault code ECU 1... prior to the fault code the engine bogged down really bad and solid yellow and check engine light come on.


an answer from just answers reports this
ecu 1 fault means the engine ECM has an internal fault and needs to be replaced
most of the time with this code it is not the ECM itself but usually a wiring problem going to the ECm
there should be 2 fuses for the ECM either next to the ecm in plastic covers by a starter or in a plastic box
check all wiring going to and from the engine and battery grounds
especially the grounds
check for wires rubbed through and loose terminals
take it to a service dealer for a proper diagnosis as it costs money wasting time trying to find the fault yourself as a truck standing still is not earning it's keep

Fault Code:- P0443 Indicates a Power-train fault


The fault is generally due to a problem in the Emission Control area


Fault Description: EVAP canister purge valve circuit malfunction

Action of ECM:- ECM Default: - Canister purge inhibited - Adaptive fuel metering inhibited


After clearing the DTC, complete the Purge system monitor drivecycle
Check for a reoccurrence of fault DTC.


Possible Fault:- EVAP Canister purge valve to ECM drive circuit: open circuit, short circuit, high resistance EVAP Canister purge valve power supply circuit: open circuit, short circuit EVAP Canister purge valve operating vacuum hose leak / restriction EVAP Canister purge valve failure

Fault:
Oxygen Sensor (O2S) 1, Bank 1 - Circuit Malfunction
Possible Cause:
Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) Triggered on first occurrence.
-Wiring harness.
-Oxygen sensor (O2S).
-Engine control module (ECM).

Error Code: P0505
Fault:
Idle Speed Control (ISC) System - Malfunction
Possible Cause:
-Wiring harness.
-Idle speed control (ISC) actuator/Idle air control valve (IAC) valve.
-Throttle motor.
-Throttle valve tight/sticking.

My s type jaguar dtc p1638 i dont undarstand the mining of that why, 2000 year it asking me to look in the manual tecnical book


Fault codes are listed in the technical handbook, no good to you as it's a Jaguar service item unless you can get a copy of JTIS from ebay etc.
