I have a 1991 lexus ls400 and i took off my flywheel to change my seal and i forgot what order the flywheel came off. do i put the spacer on first then the flywheel then the washer or flywheel spacer and washer????

Usually it is spacer first then flywheel then washer.

Not too bad. Not much room, just enough to drop the starter. It is probably easier to go up through exhaust if you can get your exhaust shield off the manifold .

remove rear seat then remove cover in the trunk, you will see a cover remove thatcover and remove 8 bolts holding fuelpump in tank,also dissconnect connector to fuelpump with bolts removed the pump pulls right out.hope this helps.

That sounds like either your valve seals/stems. What color is the smoke? Are you sure its not just steam? Does it disappear after a couple of seconds? Please reply

I had the same problem with my 1992 LS400. My Lexus mechanic fixed it by replacing the MAF(Mass Air Flow).

This used to drive me crazy when the weather was hot.
