1996 Peugeot 405: Will Mobil ATF D/M automatic transmission fluid work satisfactorily in 1996 Peugeot 405?

I just checked with a Mobil application guide that makes only three suggestions

Automatic Transmission 2.4ltr
Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF
Mobil ATF 320
Mobil ATF 220

You could put just about anything in for emergency get you home purposes but only recommended oil should be used if it is to remain in there.
A quart is a lot of oil to lose. I suggest finding the cause is a big priority.

Mobil oil fiter japan made wanted which work in hummer h3 instead it's origional Because it isn't available here on auto stores except toyota spare parts.plz help.

oil filters are made but specialist filter companies and are painted to the oem specs to command a higher spares price . For every engine made there will be an after market filter that will fit and do the same job as the genuine unit. The numbers on the side are the identifying code and if you get a filter book you will find alternative filters to suit your engine . If you cannot get access to a catalogue then go on line for oil filters and find it there.

Best motor oil for a car with over 90,000 miles

well, I am old school, I do not buy into "High Mileage"oils, nor synthetic oils, nor synthetic blends...unless your car has required it and has seen only synthetic since day 1.

I suggest as long as you change oil and the filter every 3000 or 3 months, and can afford to do so, i wouldn't worry about the best, barring there are no current revealing problems. Just use the proper viscosity oil for your car, and proper level. I think your car is 10w-30 year round, 4 1/2 qts. with filter change...always check level after change to make sure it's on par.

Popular brands are CAM-2, Penzoil, Valvoline, Quaker State, Castrol, Mobil. They are all the same to me.

These are only do what you think is best for you.

Gmc envoy 2002 recomennded oil type?

The overwhelming response on GM Envoy forums is Mobil 1 Synthetic motor oil.

The recommend includes using Mobil 1 0W-40 all year. It will give you outstanding protection at low ambient temperatures as well as at high operating temperatures.

Envoy enthusiasts also recommend K&N or Mobil 1 Extended Performan oil filters.

I want to now if its true about the problems with the 1.8 turbo GTI vw about the oil pressure

The 1.8 had some issues with buildup of oil sludge in the engine due to the amount of heat from the turbo.I would suggest that if your having oil pressure issues to have the oil pan removed and clean the sludge from the engine. Also change your engine oil to a full synthetic such as royal purple or mobil 1.A k&n oil filter works well also.

Can i use synthic oil? It has 91,100 miles as well.

synthetic oil is the same as regular oil
use mobil 1
the only reason to go synthetic is to extend the oil change interval
don't use a cheap oil filter though

I have recently purchased a 1997 Toyota

Unless you are in a cold part of the country, I'd suggest 10W40 or even 20W50 and see if the oil pressure improves. Mobil 1 will often yield lower oil pressure in higher mileage engines when hot. It's really not worth the money unless you live in near arctic conditions.

2007 saturn vue 4 cylinder - change oil

if you've never done this before, i wouldn't experiment...instead, find a friendly mechanic that will do the job and allow you to look on as he completes the work :o)
P.S. ALWAYS take your own WALMART oil filter and use MOBIL ONE, I think your car is 5W20 and takes 4 qts. Then only change the filter every 5k-(when you rotate the tires) and at 15k do a complete drain and filter!
Good Luck
