The heater stays on The blower motor does not work. Diagnostics says all is working ok. Help!

Pull the blower mot rand test it, my bet is the motor is getting power but is defective, that would show no problem when diagnostics are run, since all it see is power going to the blower motor.

2005 f150 a/c blower motor mot working? a/c still works if i put it on outside air and go 60mph you can feel cold air, the compressor still engages and works fine but no fan? maybe the resistor?

If it is the Blower Motor resistor, usually high speed still works.

Check the blower motor relay ( next to the flasher by the steering column up under the dash ) and fuse #116. This is the relay that powers the blower motor from the HVAC control panel.

The blower motor would not shut off while the keys are in my hand and truck is not running now front blower motor will not come on.

I would strongly suspect your blower motor relay is bad, your blower relay gets power to close the coil (within the relay ) from a key power source, which should be off when the key is off, it is possible for the relay to stick and provide power to the blower with the key off, and now the defective relay will not allow the power to the blower as designed.replace your blower relay and I am sure you"ll be back in good shape. your blower relay is located in the small relay box under the dash in the center and really kinda a bear cat to get to.thanks for using fixya

Your blower motor relay is probably stuck on. Sometimes you can tap on them and it will turn off but you will have to replace that relay.
