Question about Cars & Trucks
Hello, when i started my car, i usually heard a reais clicking for several seconds(in dashbord on richt side). Since a few days there's no sound anymore when the car starts, but the elec.heater, the airco and the backwindow heater do not work anymore... the normal fuses are ok, is it doable to fix the problem myself?
The noise you heard was the recirculate air flap on the heater unit ,but now its not working for whatever reason and i suspect the power supply ,now on a 1998 model its a more manual type system and the power out of the switch is faulty so check for power to and out the heater blower switch as i yes i have had faulty switches here also faulty burnt connections on the fan motor but the most difficult is them connection on the back of the fuse holder in the fuse block ,somewhere along the line their isnt power getting through so you will have to investigate to find whats causing the lack of power

It is doable to fix yourself, if you look in the manual you should have another fuse box under the bonnet as far as I am aware this is on all Peugeots, if no joy you could always google a company called airbag man. We use him at work and he comes out to fix all electrical faults on cars. If he is not local to your area any auto electrician on google can do this for you

It sounds like a power supply problem. I can't see all 4 motors broken.
First how does the switch "feel" No buttons loose?
Does it illuminate when you switch sidelights on?
If that's ok
I would gain access to the master switch on the drivers door.
I would think you have to remove the door panel and armrest I can't remember for sure, but it doesn't take a lot .
Check and make sure all the multiplugs are connected first of all.
Make sure all the terminals in the plugs are fully "home"
If there is nothing obvious i would follow the loom to where it exits the door and goes back into the car and check for damage.
Check for ANY other electrical equipment not working, if so go back to your handbook and re-check which fuse it goes through.
Also, if this problem has occurred after a recent repair, I suggest you return to the repairer.

how hard was your car hit?? is it petrol or diesel? if its petrol the first thing that pops to mind is that, under the bonnet near the back (cant remember what side) you'll see a big red button, press it and try agaijn.. this is a knock sensor for if you ever have a crash... ive set one off just by parking and bumpin the car in front

SOURCE: peugeot 306 problem
Thes have a weak point with the pump in the tank. It is under a cap under the rear seat, get someone to turn the ignition on and listen if no noise give it a tap and see if it whirrs, slacken a pipe on the filter and see if there is pressure, if not the pumps are available from factors or on line.
