check under and around your entire brake pedal assembly in the car. there may be a contact switch or something like it being blocked by dirt or object.

SOURCE: I have 84 911 and the brake lights sometimes stay

be sure that the brake lever is coming up ALL the way. Sometimes even the slightest amount of pressure on the switch will activate the light. Also try a shot of WD-40 on the switch sliding pin.

1993 chevy silverado parking lamps go of when i turn on headlights, signal lights flicker when i press on brake.

Yes I would look for a ground circuit problem. I would look at the ground wires for the headlights first. Even run a new ground wire for the tail lights to see if it helps.
Could be a ground connection for the body to frame or body to battery.

I have no brake lights on my 2005 oldsmobile alero

Try wiggling the turn signal switch and applying the brakes.Have somebody check and see if the brake lights come on or flicker while wiggling the switch and applying the brakes. Try this after verifying the bulbs are good. If the brake lights come on after even briefly the turn signal switch needs replaced.
