Question about 2001 Volkswagen Passat
'ABS', 'check engine', 'STOP', 'driver manual', 'coolant', 'emissions'--lights and warning bells all the time. otherwise, great driver. i drive anyways, but this has been going on for months. never heats up. seems fine. whats wrong with it?
Cant help you go to dealer get codes erased and checked something in the computer im guessing ???

your abs unit is failing and needs replaced ...the procedure for testing is to backprobe green wire in abs connector and watch voltage wave pattern on a scope ....it will show voltage does not go from 0 to 12 but only 4 to 12 volts that verifies problem is abs controller.

Stop by a local parts store like an Autozone, Advance, etc.. and have them do an OBII scan for you. (they do it for free) The scan will show all faults and give you answers to all possible problems instead of jusr throwing parts at it. They can reset all your lights also.
