Or, Try watching this YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iZFGmWYmYnA
why would you think it has bands?
old cars, &relics,. had all bands, and the maker got rid of them 1 by
1 , down to a low band (most 1 band cars now , have auto adjusters)
they did this to make tranny more narrow, and to make them stronger
to get rid of having to muck with them over and over, service steps just not really needed. (a top goal , now and by EPA) no muck no leaking to ground water, bla bla bla./
the 30/32RH had bands,
my guess is you are reading books for old cars and thinking this applies to now.???
the 42RLE has clutch packs, that are behind a PISTON that
is 100% auto adjustable.
why not post symptoms, theses transmissions are complex
and is shifted by and electronic brain
did you scan the PCM to see if there are TRANNY DTC errors yet.
that be first after checking fuses.
It might be easier to visit a Jeweler, Target or Kohl's store to buy a new watchband. They will install the band and some are quite reasonably priced (although cheaper bands wear out and need replacement more frequently). If you really want to contact the manufacturer, here is their web site: http://www.mzb.com/
