Question about 2004 Cadillac CTS
Having issues with our ABS system. Pulled the fuse, as recomended on other forums. This resolved my ABS issue but also turns off all braking lights. Is there a way around this? I pulled the main ABS fuse located in front/fuse box as well as the ABS fuse in the rear/fuse box.
Look for an ABS Relay, I just briefly searched and didn't really find any exact picture to share with you on where it'd be located. Fuse boxes should be labeled, or ID in the owners manual. Pull ABS relay if located, post results!

Testimonial: "Here is what i found within the manual. J Cases, ABS, located in front Fuse Panel. Pulled, fixed problem but lost brake lights. Fuses, ABS, located underneath rear seat - passenger side, removed, did not test braking and braking lights were lost again. Both of these were put back in. The only other options I found were: Fuses, BAS, but this ties or shows usages for Taillamps, Center High-Mounted Stop;amp, Flasher Module, Trailer Lamps, and of course the ABS Module. I have not pulled this to try it. or Relays, BAS Relay Mini, (Usage) Brake Apply Sensor. I could not find an ABS Relay, unless one of the four i listed above is it. Suggestions?..."
Many of the master cylinders have connection for a brake light pressure switch. Some also active the brake lights by placing a switch directly under the brake pedal. You may need to build your own bracket.

you'll have to have it diagnosed at a repair shop to pinpoint the source. sorry, but thats how they make them. you could buy your own but it'll cost about 200$
