Replaced fuel pump on 2000 Grand Cherokee and now it keeps cutting off. Takes a few tries to restart. What could be the problem now?

I hate to say this but it could be the fuel pump. Some times they are bad out of the box. Take it back in and replace it with another one. If that doesn't fix it start troubleshooting the rest of the fuel system. Injectors, Sensors etc. is throwing any codes?

Replaced the fuel pump on my 2000 Grand Cherokee and now the truck keeps cutting off. What could be the problem?

Check the small hoses for cracks or loose. If OK, then check the fuel pressure sensor. You can tell if it is a fuel problem by placing an open bottle of propane near the intake and have someone crank.

I have a 1998 jeep grand cherokee laredo. It will turn over fine but will not start.. its not getting fire and the coil is fine.. Its also not getting fuel but i ran a wire to the fuel pump and it is also...

if your not getting spark or fuel to the engine and the ignition coil and fuel pump are good i would suspect it to be an anti-theft, or security issue. are you using a key you had just got cut??

Why won't 2005 jeep cherokee start?

Are we sure its a fuel problem? There is a fuel cut off switch in the back that might need reset.
