SOURCE: 2002 Buick Rendzvous Won,t idle under 1000 rpm

This could be the TPS, or Throttle Position Sensor. Generally when there is an idle problem, this is the first thing to look at. Hope this helps

SOURCE: where is throttle located on a buick century 2001?

If you follow your intake tube to the side of the motor... the right side that is there will be a little plate with 2 cables going into the top and pull it downward. This is your throttle pulley and that opens the throttle plate on the inside in the intake tube.

My Tata Indica will not rev up cleanly. It seems to smother on higher revs. Problem?

sounds like fuel stavation possibly a blocked fuel filter or faulty fuel pump

Buick Enclave will occasionally at a stop rev up to between 2000-4000 rpm

Three possible reasons for this are
1. You have a vacuum leak
2. The throttle position sensor (TPS) has gone bad
3. The idle air control valve is bad or blocked up.

2001 buick century if throttled up at the engine runs great but if throttled up by the throttle pedel it begins to surge

This car should have a throttle positioning sensor. Have you had the codes run on your vehicle. Free at most local auto parts centers

Lack of power

The computer will not allow the car to full rev in park to protect the engine. Likewise there is a rev limiter when in drive which will shut down injectors at high engine speeds usually around 5000 RPM or so.
