SOURCE: what is the coolant capacity for a 1999 international 4700 T444E

auto transmissions are real sensitive to oil and flow issues. Not knowing your make, year, and service history, I will make the following suggestion. Have your transmission serviced with a Flush, filter change, and new oils. This should fix any flow issues that can cause this problem. If still an issue after that, you will need to have it serviced or it will fail in the long run.

NOTE: service facilities such as Oil & Go, have this flushing service available at a flat rate charge and I would use this type service rather than a transmission shop....but that is your choice .... hope this helps...

IF you are talking about the lever switch ,, many have a PLASTIC switch piece in the steering wheel , which have so called hooks on them..... that when you pull the lever , it engages into that hook and turning wheel / cornering or just moving the lever back to it's neutral postiion turns it off........ thus needing to remove the steering wheel to replace / fix it .
1st check with your local parts house to see if there is this piece in your year / make / model.

Recall ID # 38624 - ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH minus.gif Hide Details Recall Date JAN 27, 2004 Component ELECTRICAL SYSTEM:IGNITION:SWITCH Model Affected Sunfire Potential Units Affected 1415231 Recall Date: JAN 27, 2004 Model Affected: 1999 Pontiac Sunfire Summary: ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES. IF THE ENGINE FAILS TO START AND THE DRIVER HOLDS THE KEY IN THE "START" POSITION FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD, HIGH CURRENT FLOWS THROUGH THE IGNITION SWITCH, AND SOMETIMES PRODUCES ENOUGH HEAT TO MELT INTERNAL SWITCH PARTS. Consequences: IF THE SWITCH IS DAMAGED, A FIRE COULD OCCUR IN THE STEERING COLUMN, EVEN WITH THE ENGINE OFF AND THE KEY REMOVED. THE FIRE COULD SPREAD TO THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR, WHICH COULD INJURE OCCUPANTS OR CAUSE DAMAGE TO ADJOINING STRUCTURES. Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A RELAY KIT IN THESE VEHICLES TO PREVENT HIGH CURRENT FROM FLOWING THROUGH THE IGNITION SWITCH, AND CHECK THAT YOUR CAR WILL START WITH A PROPERLY CHARGED BATTERY AND, IF NECESSARY, REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH. OWNER NOTIFICATION WILL BEGIN ON MARCH 1, 2004. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT CHEVROLET AT 1-800-630-2438, PONTIAC AT 1-800-620-7668, BUICK AT 1-866-608-8080, OR OLDSMOBILE AT 1-800-630-6537. Ive replaced dist cap and rotor coil is firing but no fire to plugs

check for power to the coil, if there is no power...its a possible ignition switch failure. The ignition switches in these models have defective internal contacts, resulting in power loss to vital electrical components. You may check the ignition switch by removing the plastic cover around the steering column. Its a white round plastic unit with wires coming out, and located behind the key cylinder. Inspect for internal archs or black/burnt residue. Call you local Honda dealer for recall info, they will need your vin#...Hopefully this helps

Key fits into ignition but will not turn

Bad ignition switch. I fixed a problem like that with a 1999 Toyota Sienna. The cylinder is broken in internally. Need the replace tumbler, (just the key part not the electrical part) However it may be hard to get by itself. Good Luck
