its allways a good idea for one to develop a trusting relationship with there autos mechanic , if you don't feel you can trust them you need to find one that you can , ask questions , ask to see old parts , any mechanic that's honest/good in his work will show you those parts and even explain what they do

1995 acura integra waterpump location how much to changh live in md

For shop charges labor hourly rate the rate for a water pump on your vehicle is 2.1 hrly rate, standard is 4.2 hrly rate, this waterpump is part of the timing belt and while they are in there you or they should suggest camsaft seal and crank shaft seal with a new valve cover gasket

Fan clutch waterpump radiator and timing belt replacement

Without more specifics, the only thing I can suggest would be for locating the parts you need. I'd recommend a salvage yard for any of your parts EXCEPT the waterpump. I owned a salvage yard and still recommend replacing the waterpump with a new (not rebuilt) unit. The costs are almost the same in almost all applications. If you have nowhere at all to work on the car, a cheap alternative to a repair shop is a tech school. You supply the parts and pay little or no $ for labor. Food for thought anyways. Good luck!

How much it will cost me to replace my water pump on , a Durango 20002 4.7L

You're going to have to shop around. Parts & labor vary widely from shop to shop. You can get an idea by calling parts store and checking price of waterpump, then compare what shops want for part & labor.

How do i get the fan off of a '99 chevy blazer so i can take the water pump out?

Well lets see.
Top radiator shroud has to come off.
A special tool is required to hold the pulley/waterpump from turning so the large nut on the front can be removed.
some guys leave the serpentine belt on to assist in this part since that large nut can be a real pain.
All in all it seems to take people about 4 hours to do this job of R&R the water pump. Shop might charge two hours labor for it.

How much is the cost to replace a timing belt and how much time should it take?

A simple belt replacement is typically about $400 on your car (02-06 Camry V6)

The belt retails for $52 from Toyota.

The book labor time is 3.6 hours (at whatever your local shops charge, typically around $90 per hour)

Common add-on repairs at the time is the waterpump for an additional half hour plus parts, and the cam shaft seals (which are notorious leakers on this engine!) which is an additional 2 hours labor (plus parts). That time is fairly generous though, and most shops (mine included) typically charge much less to add the cam seals..

1) Apx. how much would it cost parts & labor to change Ignition switch on a 1998 Nissan Maxima SE? 2) Do you think I can find the parts?

HI, the cost of the ignition switch is $27.99. the labor cost is usually figure by the hour and it is set a 50 dollar an hour increment. In my shop, we have a set minimum labor charge of two hour as most shops in my area. Total estimated cost including the labor and parts should be around $127.99 give or take.

You can most certainly purchase this part yourself on-line at

Part Number is - LS812
OEM Number---- 48750- 1E411

Please rate and god bless:)
