There is a fuse in the back of the set . It is normally a small glass fuse ,fairly short and looks something like a auto fuse. SAFETY FIRST ---ENSURE THAT THE POWER LEAD IS DISCONNECTED FROM THE WALL OUTLET BEFORE REMOVING THE BACK PANEL The fuse will be on the power wires before the transformer.

Heater does not blow. I am not sure what it is. HELP

blower motor most likely pretty easy to get out. one elecrical plug and 3 bolts which I believe can come out with a phillips or an 8mm socket. check fuses first though as it may be something that simple. if you have a multimeter you could probe the wires at the electrical connection and see if theres power to the motor when the switch is on to verify if its a fan problem or a power problem.

Hello, guy/ my buick's shift lever is stuck, so I CANNOT drive it. would you nicely tell me how to fix it myself? I dont have money to tow and repair it, thank oyu very much!

What do you mean it's stuck? You may have a blown fuse, check your fuses and if not if you could kindly give me a little more info as to what it is doing. A lot of the cars with the floor shift will get money or some foreign stuck in the shift area. There should be 4 screws may be hex head or star head (phillips head) screws. If that don't work check to make sure that your safety switch is working on your break. There is a lot of different reasons that it could make it not work. But start off checking these few simple things. let me know if any work and if not I'll try to give more info. Thanks Randy,,,

Glow plug light comes on but glow plug dont heat

there is a fuse link on the bulkhead or it can be located on the paneling around the engine bay ,, it is in a black plastic box about 2 inchs square the cover is just clipped in place inside you will find a silver coloured fuse link ,,,this usually burns out or blows and stops the glow plugs getting power ,,,,even though the glow light will still work,,,, replacement is simple it is held in place by 2 screws usually phillips or cross headed,,,, the fuse link is cheap and easily available,,, hope this helps

How do you repair or repair the accessory power plug in a chervolet 2500hd silverado?

First check the fuse(s) under the hood, fuse box on drivers side, location of fuses on inside of fuse box cover, if fuse is good, then check for power to the fuse (test light) make sure it is connected correctly. If all is good the you will have to replace the plug assembly there is NO repair. Make sure it is a power plug and NOT a cigarette lighter plug.

How to fix my 2006 stratus aux power outlet

I had a 2001 dodge stratus R/T. My mirror auto dim, digital compass and temp screen, and aux power outlet blew out because I had a power inverter plugged in and tried run something to required to much power. I was just a simple fuse. Go to the fuse box inside the car, not under the hood and check the small diagram on the cover and replace the required fuse. Good Luck.

On my 95nissan maxima my tachometer when out.how can i fix it

Check the instrument cluster fuse located underneath the drivers side steering wheel. Flip the fuse box cover over and you will find a diagram showing where this fuse is located. Replace the fuse with a new one. If that does not get it working again then you will need to remove the instrument cluster and then exchange it for another used one found in your local junkyard. The instrument cluster is removed by prying off the plastic or simulated wood bezel and then removing four phillips screws with a phillips screwdriver. After you remove the screws, pull the cluster out and then disconnect the electrical plugs at the rear of cluster by pressing the clips together and then pulling away (at the same time)

Please help me with power in cig lighter

Hi, grab a voltmeter and test volts at car lighter connector, near to car lighter socket, if there is volts in there (uncommon) , then check for short or broken contact on car lighter socket, or replace the first socket connected in line.

If there is no voltage getting to cig lighter, check the two connections at the back of the fuse box, on the cigarette lighter fuse.

If there is volts only on one side, then fuse is gone again, in that case there is a short on wiring, maybe on one of lighters, locate it and fix it.

If there is power on both sides of the fuse, then fix or replace wiring between fuse box and cigarette lighter, one wire is broken.

If there is no power on both sides of lighter fuse, then fix the wiring between fuse box cig. lighter contact and battery, if this is too complicate you can even build a new wiring and solder in place of the old one.

If the lighters have more than one fuse, do the same job for both lighter. Cig. lighters do not use a relay, and there is no additional fuse, the above procedure is enough to fix any possible problem on such a simple device.

If you have no practice with this kind of repair on car electrical system, then better to go to a car electrician or mechanic rather then messing up the car electric system.

Please do not forget to leave us feedback afterward, that is important for us.

Many thanks.
